Freedom to Travel Law Report Submitted by Florida Office of Insurance Regulation

(Tallahassee, FL – Insurance News and Markets) – The 2014 report on Life Insurance Limitations Based on Foreign Travel Experiences is in the hands of the Florida Legislature, after the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation submitted the report in early March.

This report shows how insurers are working to comply with the Freedom to Travel Act, a law that restricted an insurance company’s ability to alter premiums or deny coverage based on past or future travel to foreign countries.
